Kelyn Egbuka

Everybody has a love language… mine is food. Not just any food. Fresh, delicious food, cooked with so much love that it becomes an experience.  This experience is best shared with family and friends in a casual environment with great conversation and lots of laughter.

My current style of cooking has developed from years of exposure. I was two years old when I baked my first cake with my Mom. As a young girl I learned about flavors from my grandfather and the science of baking from my grandmother. As a teen I learned about food quality and feeding a crowd from my Mom and Dad.  As an adult I experienced blending of cultures and style while living and working in NYC. My husband and I love to travel, eat great food and experience new cultures.

I have worked in restaurants and coffee houses in Texas, bakeries in New York and I am now using my love language working as a freelance food photographer/stylist and recipe developer while launching Buka Bakehouse.

Without a storefront I share my passion through private dinner parties and pop-up bakery events. I also take custom baked orders for special events.
